For a second there i thought i was looking at smoke, or a water ripple, and then it hit me. A very pleasant surprise. But all jokes aside, its a very fitting title, and EXCELLENT use of lighting. Great job!
i like this one too. i do have a question. did you apply any sort of sss to the skin though? it seems kinda hard to tell if you did and if not, i think with a light situation like this, that sss would really add some glow to the overall pic. either way, you worked them lights really nice once again.
oh, it's subsurface scattering, for making the skin appear more natural, kind of like the candle effect, when the wax bounces the light around inside of it or like leaves, when you hold them up to a light source and you can see the light coming through, but not see through the leaf. not trying to insult your intelligence by explaining what i meant, i just didn't know if pro 2010 could pull off that effect with some sort of work around, or if you ever even tried to dabble with it before. i know it's built into pro 2012 though. it really makes a difference if done right though.
